Shepherd of Our Steps
In quiet dawn or storm‑tossed night,
We walk by faith and not by sight.
For Jesus leads with gentle hand,
Our Savior strong, our guiding stand.
At New Hope Baptist Church, we rise
With grateful hearts and lifted eyes.
Together on this path we tread,
Trusting God in all ahead.
He shepherds us through every mile,
Through trials deep and seasons mild.
In personal valleys, steep and long,
His presence stays—our steady song.
And in our ministry’s sacred call,
When burdens press or doubts enthrall,
We lean on Him, our Cornerstone—
For Christ sustains; we’re not alone.
So step by step, His grace we trace,
A faithful flock upheld by grace.
With hope renewed and spirits stirred,
We follow God, our Shepherd sure.
